Below are answers to some of the questions consumers have asked, which you may find helpful.

Q. What is the pH of skin? A. It varies, but it is normally between 4.0 and 6.0, which is slightly acidic. This acid mantle—as it is referred to by dermatologists—helps to provide protection from bacterial and fungal infections.

Q. What is the pH of most bar soaps? A. Usually between 9.0 and 11.0.

Q. Why is there no aspirin warning on anti-blemish gel facial wash that it contains salicylic acid? A. Aspirin warnings are intended for oral products that reduce fever and treat headaches and other pain. There is no aspirin warning required on topical products containing salicylic acid.

Q. Are pHisoderm® products gluten-free? A. Yes.

Q. Is the product biodegradable? A. pHisoderm® products are biodegradable in a biological waste H20 treatment plant. They are not biodegradable without help.
